This free oral reading of The Note’s prologue has been done by the novel’s author, J. John Portera. It is taken from the unabridged complete recording of Dr. Portera’s most recent murder mystery/psychological thriller; an audiobook that will be solely available for purchase through this website, or direct sales during the book tour speaking engagements and signings scheduled for 2007/2008. In the author’s own words, he has stated, “ I’ve chosen to do the oral recitation of my novel, instead of electing to allow someone else to read my creative work, simply because no one better comprehends the manner in which I would want my written words interpreted......with the tone, inflections, and other vocal nuances that my mind envisioned as I penned the words to a novel that once again explicitly exposes the frailty of humanity."
